Podium TKC testing sessions give drivers four 8-minute on-track sessions in either a morning or afternoon block. They are a great way to gain valuable seat time in a relaxed, pressure-free environment before entering your first race.
Testing takes place at a variety of circuits throughout Southern California, allowing drivers to experience our Rotax-powered Sodi Sport karts on different track layouts and conditions. Dedicated Podium TKC staff will be on hand throughout the session to offer tips, feedback, and guidance to help each driver get comfortable and up to speed with the kart.
Completing a testing session is mandatory for drivers moving up from indoor or rental karts. This allows our team to evaluate your ability, competence, circuit awareness, and safety before approving you to race.
Alpha Timing will not allow new drivers to register for a race event until they have first registered for an approved Podium TKC testing day or session. Once the testing session is booked, drivers may register for upcoming races and secure their place before completing the test.
Drivers with previous experience competing in a recognized professional or owner-kart racing series may request an exemption by emailing zachary@podiumtkc.com.
