Podium TKC (Touring Kart Championship) is a premier arrive-and-drive karting
championship featuring high-performance 2-stroke karts. Our series travels to top
circuits, offering professionally organized events that include both sprint races and
endurance formats—delivering a complete racing experience without the need to own
equipment.
Podium TKC is designed for drivers looking for a serious racing experience without
owning a kart—whether you’re progressing from rentals or already experienced in
competitive karting.
Drivers must be at least 13 years old to participate. The Junior category is for ages
13–17, while the Senior category is open to drivers 15 and older.
No, but some karting experience is recommended. If you’re unsure, we strongly suggest
attending a testing session before racing.

testing is required to ensure safety and competitiveness. Please contact us at
zachary@podiumtkc.com to discuss your experience and determine if you’re eligible to
compete without prior testing.
The membership fee secures your place in the championship and includes administrative setup, SWS integration, and event access.

equipment for the best fit and comfort.
All classes operate with minimum weight limits to ensure fair competition. Drivers may be required to add ballast to meet the minimum weight for their category. We can add up to 45 lbs of ballast to each kart. If you are unable to meet the minimum weight with this limit, please contact us at zachary@podiumtkc.com prior to registering.
Ballast is additional weight added to the kart to ensure all drivers meet the minimum
class weight, creating equal performance across the field.
Yes. Ballast and mounting hardware are provided and installed by our team to ensure safety and consistency.
Drivers are weighed with full race gear before and/or after sessions to ensure
compliance with class minimum weights.
Each event consists of 3 heat races and 1 final. Drivers will start one heat at the front, one in the middle, and one at the back—ensuring every driver has an equal average
starting position. Points from the heats are combined to determine the starting grid for the final.
Championship points are awarded based on finishing positions in the finals across all 5 rounds. The final result of each event is what counts toward the championship standings.
Yes. Each driver’s lowest-scoring round will be dropped from the final championship
standings.
Penalties may be applied for on-track incidents, unsafe driving, or rule violations. These can include time penalties, position drops, or disqualification depending on severity.
Only Senior class results count toward official Sodi World Series (SWS) rankings and qualification.
The driver with the highest total points at the end of the season—after the drop round is
applied—is crowned the Sprint Champion.
Podium TKC provides a comfortable paddock environment with ample seating available under our tents for drivers and guests throughout the day.
We plan to have food trucks on-site during sprint events. Availability may vary by venue, so we recommend planning accordingly and bringing any additional food or drinks you
may need.
Yes. Drivers and guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages.
